Matt possesses 16 years of oil and gas industry experience that ranges from working as a landman to owning and managing minerals. He held managerial landman positions at King Operating and Equinor (formerly Brigham Exploration / Statoil). Matt’s has vast experience in land management, including mergers, trades, acquisitions and divestitures in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and North Dakota. He also has experience in leasing, preparing drilling units and managing the acquisition and development process. Matt obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashford University.

Jason Beck is a Certified Professional Landman and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor with extensive experience in servicing Trusts, Agencies and Foundations over his career. He was the Executive Director and Regional Manager of Mineral Asset Management for JPMorgan Chase for 17 years and oversaw all areas of mineral management. Jason received his BS from West Texas A&M University in Agricultural Business & Economics and holds a Petroleum Land Practice certification from Texas Christian University.

Joseph has acquired and managed thousands of oil and gas interests during his career. He brings extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and is a life member of American Mensa. He received his BBA and MBA from Baylor University, where he played football. He has received a Certificate in Energy from Texas A&M University and has completed the Colorado School of Mines Petroleum SuperSchool. He was named one of Oil and Gas Investor Magazine’s “Top 20 Under 40”, D CEO Energy Services and Technology Executive of the Year, and was featured in the Dallas Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy.”

Clifton, a multi-generational mineral owner, brings extensive leadership experience and a combined background in law and agribusiness to the Valor team. He has managed oil and gas assets for numerous investors including family offices, high-net-worth individuals and private equity firms. Clifton previously practiced oil and gas law in Midland, Texas. Clifton earned his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and his law degree from the Georgetown Law School and has also completed the Colorado School of Mines Petroleum SuperSchool.

Liz has enjoyed a successful career in leadership roles across multiple industries, including event planning, business development, entrepreneurship, and marketing. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College in North Carolina and is currently enrolled in the UT Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management earning an Executive MBA. Liz's education and experiences allow her the ability to apply real-world applications and emerging technologies to further optimize Valor's accounting department and overall company success.

Hannah brings nearly a decade of experience to her role as Director of Marketing. She previously worked with brands such as Chick-fil-A, Neiman Marcus, Abercrombie & Fitch and Cook Children's Health Care System. She has extensive experience in preparing and leading strategies rooted in both traditional and digital marketing tactics. Hannah also spent time working at the Richards Group and iProspect. Hannah received a BS in Psychology and a BS in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University.

Jason brings nearly two decades of teaching, counseling, coaching, and consulting experience to his role of Chief People Officer. Jason earned his Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) from Abilene Christian University, and has built a career implementing goal-oriented training, counseling, and management programs for various organizations across the world. In his most recent pursuit, Jason became certified as an Associate Professional in Human Resources® (aPHR), allowing him to utilize these skills to maximize both individual and organizational potential at Valor.

Adam has experience in public accounting as a financial statement auditor for publicly and privately held clientele in the oil & gas, manufacturing, distribution and healthcare industries. After moving into industry accounting, he worked with a rapidly growing start up to develop first time financial and accounting processes, controls and various reporting packages. Adam is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of CPAs. He obtained a bachelor’s in finance from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Pam has forty years of dedicated experience in information technologies. She has executed multiple highly successful systems and financial application software conversions. As Chief Information Officer, Pam designs, deploys and manages the strategic systems infrastructure for Valor. She also oversees the systems architecture, operations, and implementation of business applications as our company continues to expand exponentially.

Gary Wilson, a CPA with over 20 years of oil and gas experience, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas and a subsequent master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas. His most notable roles include Director of Corporate Accounting at Noble Energy and Vice-President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at Marathon Oil Corporation. Gary excels in optimizing accounting processes, handling acquisitions and divestitures, and overseeing SEC compliance and global accounting functions, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to excellence in the field.
